Frequently asked questions

What do I need to use Trabit?

An iPhone or iPad on iOS 26 or later. The Watch app needs a paired Apple Watch. The coach needs a device that supports Apple Intelligence; everything else works on any supported device. Trabit is free, with no ads, in-app purchases, or subscriptions. The app is available in English, Arabic, Chinese (Simplified), Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Brazil), and Spanish. Some coach messages are still in English only.

What does the coach do?

It plans your week and keeps it realistic. Tell it about a race, a concert, or an exam, and it shapes the days around it. It moves a missed session, lightens the load when your recovery is low, switches to home or hotel workouts when you travel, and suggests fewer sessions when a routine isn't sticking. It works for training, practice, and study. Nothing changes unless you accept it.

How do I log quickly?

Type naturally, like "ran 5km, 2L water", in the app or straight into a notification reply. You can also say "Log running in Trabit" to Siri, tap a widget or your Apple Watch, or add the "Log next habit" control to Control Center or the Action Button. Anything Trabit isn't sure about waits in "For you to confirm" on the Today screen.

How do meal estimates work?

Describe your meal and Trabit gives a rough protein and calorie estimate. On iOS 27 you can also snap a photo. Treat estimates as a starting point, and enter the real numbers if you know them.

How does the pantry work?

Photograph a grocery receipt and Trabit adds the items to your pantry, each marked Plenty, Some, Low, or Out. On iOS 27 you can also snap your fridge or cupboard. In the evening you get up to three dinner ideas made from what you have, sized to your protein goal. Tap Cooked it and the pantry updates. Anything running low goes on your shopping list.

What are streak freezes?

A freeze covers one missed day so your streak survives. Every streak starts with one, you earn another after 7 days in a row, and you can hold up to 2. Missing two days in a row still resets the streak. Rest days never count as misses.

How do I connect with friends?

Each user gets a share code (like TRABIT-XXXXXX). Share it by QR code, link, or text. Friends only see the goals and competitions you choose to share. Friend features need iCloud.

An invite link opened in Safari instead of the app. What do I do?

Make sure Trabit is installed and up to date. Then long-press the link and choose Open in Trabit.

What does the Apple Watch app do?

It shows today's progress and your next habit, and you can tap to log, even when your iPhone is locked. You can also check your weekly goals, friends, and competitions, and add Trabit complications to your watch face.

How does Apple Health integration work?

With your permission, Trabit reads data like steps, workouts, sleep, and heart rate to track habits and inform the coach. Workouts from your Apple Watch appear as their own habits, like Running, Cycling, or Swimming. Writing meals back to Apple Health (protein and energy only) is optional and off by default.

Where is my data stored?

On your device and in your own iCloud. We don't run servers that hold your data. The coach uses Apple's on-device model or Apple Private Cloud Compute. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Can I export or delete my data?

Yes. Export everything as a CSV file from Profile. Delete habits and logs in the app, and remove the iCloud copy in iOS Settings, your name, iCloud.
